The To-do feature in ISMS.online helps you manage work efficiently by collecting all your tasks in one place. You can assign tasks to yourself or others, and colleagues can assign them to you. Alongside Activities from Projects, these appear in a clear, centralised To-do list, making it easy to stay on top of your priorities.
Your To-do List
- Access your personal To-do list from the You menu in the main navigation bar.
- The list shows all Tasks, Activities, and Track items assigned to you.
- Overdue work is highlighted in red for visibility.
- Within each work area, the To-dos tab shows all tasks assigned to users in that area.
Filtering Your To-do List
You can filter your To-dos to show:
- Tasks you’ve assigned to others
- Your own completed tasks
- Activities or Track items you’re responsible for
List and Calendar Views
- Switch between List view or Calendar view (Weekly or Monthly).
- The Calendar view displays each task on its due date.
- You can drag and drop items in the calendar to quickly change due dates.
Creating a New Task
- Click the Add To-do button (on the homepage or at the top-right of the To-do list page).
- Enter your task description.
- Select a relevant work area, if applicable.
- Assign the task to an individual or team.
- (Optional) Add notes or a due date.
- Click Post task.
The task will appear in your To-do list and in the assignee’s list. They will also receive an email notification.
Upcoming and Overdue To-dos
On your homepage, the To-do list widget shows upcoming and overdue tasks, helping you quickly see what needs attention and prioritise your workload.
Completing and Editing Tasks
Clicking on any task allows you to:
- Complete it – Marks the task complete and removes it from your active list (you can still view it using filters).
- Edit it – Update the description, notes, due date, or owner. All changes are version controlled for learning and audit purposes.
- Delete it – Only if you created the task yourself.
- Mark as urgent – Highlights the task on your To-do list, helping you focus on high-priority items.
